Not every commission begins with a fully formed vision. Some of the most beautiful hats made in this atelier started with nothing more than a feeling, a color, a sense of self that hadn’t yet found its form.
The deposit holds your place in Jess’s production calendar and opens the conversation. From there, everything — style, felt, weight, color, proportion, band — is worked out together.
What to expect
Most finished commissions range from $950 to $1,250 depending on felt selection and design complexity. The final balance will be invoiced prior to shipment.
Felt options
European rabbit — European rabbit/beaver blend — Nutria
Each felt has its own character and weight. Jess will guide you through the options to find the right one for the hat you’re building together.
The process
After your deposit, Jess will be in touch within a few days to begin the conversation. Please allow approximately six weeks from design confirmation to delivery.
