Friends, I have been dreaming up this curated sourcing trip for a long time. You are invited to join me and 12 other women on a 3 day guided sourcing trip in Downtown Los Angeles. You will visit and shop at my favorite (the best) suppliers and vendors for all things related to embellishments, decorating, finishing, and styling your hats. You will leave with tired feet, new inspiration, beautiful design treasures, industry contacts, and confidence to source your goods.

September 21st
Hosted Welcome Dinner
We will meet for a Welcome Dinner to get to connect with each other, set the stage for the 3 days of sourcing, and review the agenda & logistics. This elegant dinner will be hosted by Alter Ego Luxury Hat Studio.
September 22nd
Full day of sourcing shopping
The theme of the day is textiles. This is a full day of shopping; like 9am to 5pm with an ultra special evening event (hint: private vintage millinery shopping). We will visit several premium fabric and accessory stores. Dinner will be on your own.
September 23rd
Full day of sourcing shopping
The theme of the day is embellishments. Another full day of shopping. This day includes time sourcing beads, metals, and leather. We will also have a meeting at a specialty sewing machine supplier. Dinner will be on your own.
September 24th
Full day of sourcing shopping
The theme of the day is vintage. This day also offers a special, early morning, optional experience to attend the world famous Los Angeles Flower Market - it is truly awe inspiring. (I usually buy all the flowers my arms can carry). This day includes several premium vintage shops and an afternoon to customize; I have a few secret options for us to choose from.. Then we will debrief over afternoon coffee before our departure.
Logistics.
You will be responsible for booking and covering your own transportation to Los Angeles, hotel and food (with the exception of the Welcome Dinner). After you register, you will have access to 3 hotels that I recommend you choose from. One week prior to the start of the trip, you will receive a full itinerary with digital links to everything.
IMPORTANT: This is a walking heavy trip. Each location is between .25 and .5 miles walking distance. It’s likely we could walk up to 3 miles a day. There is one location that will require a quick ride share, but other than that expect to be walking and on your feet most of the time.
